Alebrije Earrings

Coming from the heart of Oaxaca, the artisan Arely from San Antonio Arrazola, works with neighborhood woodworkers to create geometric statements pendants that Alexa Sefchovich, designer from Guadalajara, integrates into her designs. The patterns throughout the piece are inspired by the local archeological sites peppered throughout the state, taking inspiration from their grecas (mosaic fretwork).
